The request for purposes of
the APCD permit is to increase the coal stockpile from 10,000 tons to 205,000 tons. It is intended to allow them
to level the mining operations in order to prevent the stops and starts to the mining that are caused by the
operations of the Nucla Power Plant.
My preliminary analysis indicates that this increase will not cause a significant increase in particulate emissions
and will be approved with little or no issues for the mine.
Thank you for your information.
,$" 303-692-3133 1 F 303-782-02T8
As of January
APENs.
