Administer oxygen if breathing is difficult. Seek <br />medical attention if symptoms persist. <br />Remove contaminated clothing immediately and wash affected skin with soap <br />and water. Get medical treatment for persistent irritation. Launder contaminated <br />clothing before reuse. <br />Rinse eyes thoroughly with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Keep eye wide <br />open while rinsing and lift upper and lower lids to ensure complete removal of <br />chemical. Seek immediate medical attention. <br />Do not induce vomiting. Rinse mouth with water. Then give plenty of water to <br />drink. Seek medical attention if symptoms persist. <br />5. FIRE -FIGHTING MEASURES <br />Suitable Extinguishing <br />Media: <br />Use water spray, carbon dioxide, dry chemical or foam. <br />Unsuitable extinguishing <br />Media: None <br />Fire -Fighting Hazards: Sulfur oxides (SOX), hydrogen sulfide (H2S) , carbon monoxide (CO), <br />and carbon dioxide (CO2) may form under fire conditions. Avoid <br />contact with mists, fumes, vapors, and liquids. Keep personnel <br />removed and upwind of fire. <br />Protective Equipment <br />for Fire -Fighters: Wear approved, positive pressure, self-contained respirators. Wear <br />full protective equipment for skin and eyes. <br />i 6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES <br />Personal Precautions: <br />Clean Up Methods: <br />Environmental: <br />Wear full protective equipment for eyes, body and respiratory system. <br />Ventilate spill area. Remove all sources of ignition. <br />Contain spill material with an inert, absorbent substance (e.g., sand, <br />earth, etc.) and collect liquid for disposal or reuse. Shovel spill <br />containment material into receptacles for disposal. Then flush spill <br />area with water. <br />Prevent spill and flush materials from contaminating soils and from <br />entering drains, sewers, and waterways. Collect and dispose of all <br />spill, cleanup, and flush materials in accordance with local, regional, <br />and national environmental regulations. <br />
