All review and comment periods as <br />provided in the Colorado Surface Mining Reclamation Act and the Rules initiate from this date of <br />filing. <br /> <br />C.B. Minerals Company, LLC proposes to continue underground coal mining and/or reclamation <br />operations on land located approximately 7 miles West of Glenwood Springs, Colorado. The <br />permit area is further described as follows: <br /> <br />T6S, R91W; Portions of Sections 1 and 12 <br /> T6S, R90W; Portions of Sections 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 15 and 16 <br /> <br />The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on the following USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle <br />map(s): Abarr. <br /> <br />C.B. Minerals Company, LLC proposes an application for the renewal of a valid existing permit to <br />conduct mining in Colorado for its Coal Ridge No. 1 Mine, mining permit No. C-1984-065. <br /> <br />This renewal application does not propose revisions to the approved mining and reclamation plan, <br />nor is there any proposed surface disturbance outside of the currently approved disturbance area.
