Blue Mountain Energy, Inc.
2015 Stormwater Annual Report
Permit Certification No. COR -040172
ATTACHMENTS
A. Inspections were made and maintenance actions taken to ensure compliance with the
permit. No violations of the Stormwater Permit were noted. Current BMPs are
working properly. Routine maintenance performed including ditch cleaning and
sediment removal when and where warranted.
During 2015 we saw a below normal winter precipitation with higher than normal
precipitation during May (3.63" vs. 1.00"). Summer was abnormally dry with wetter
than normal conditions returning in mid-October through the end of the year.
Overall, 2015 had above average precipitation with 13.97 inches compared to the
average annual precipitation of 10.02 inches.
No storm event with unusually high intensity was noted.
The Stormwater Management Plan was reviewed and no changes were warranted.
Since the SWMP incorporates BME's Mining Permit by reference most changes are
reviewed and addressed within the context of the Mining Permit administered by the
Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety. Several changes were made to the
Mining Permit but none that altered BMP practices regarding control or management
of stormwater.
B. First quarterly inspection — March 12.
