EXHIBIT 27, ITEM 1
Two drill holes (CHR -24 and CHR -25) will be drilled near County Road 51 (please see Figure
Exh. 27, Item 1). Borings will be advanced to obtain subsurface geological and geotechnical
information at these locations. Borings will be advanced to obtain subsurface geological and
geotechnical information at these locations at hole depths of at least 70 feet or 20 feet of
penetration into bedrock. When possible, bedrock samples will be collected and evaluated for
rock quality, rock type, weathering and hardness.
Three drill holes (CHR -26 though CHR -28) will be drilled near the West Fork of Jubb Creek
along the Collom Haul Road alignment (please see Figure Exh. 27, Item 1). Borings will be
advanced to obtain subsurface geological and geotechnical information at these locations.
Borings will be advanced to obtain subsurface geological and geotechnical information at these
locations at hole depths of at least 70 feet or 20 feet of penetration into bedrock. BACLFILLING OF DRILLED HOLES
Since all borings will be shallow and not intended to penetrate subsurface coal seams the drill
holes will be backfilled with drill cuttings and marked with a wooden stake. Drill-hole locations
will be surveyed and mapped for future reference during road construction, and all drill holes
will be disturbed during the construction of the Collom haul road and facilities area.
Exh. 27, Item 1-2 Revision Date: 01/04/16
Revision No.: MR -150
