One supplier of
acceptable willow stakes is Conservation Seeding and Restoration (Morgan Patrick, at 970-625-4769) in
Rifle. The willow stakes come in bundles of 100 stakes each. Separate the bundles into three equal sub -
bundles, and plant each bundle individually along the estimated high water line of Dutch Creek within
the Dutch Creek Diversion channel;
- Provide a light track excavator (45 FHP min.), with operator, to be utilized on an hourly basis for the
purpose of digging a sediment containment basin immediately above the culvert which drains the Sutey
Pile Ditch 8 under the adjacent access road. The basin should not be wider than the existing channel,
and should be approximately four feet deep, with a sloping inlet.
Utilize the excavator for other miscellaneous tasks as directed by Project Manager.
Please complete the attached Bid Schedule, sign and date it and return it to me at your earliest
convenience.
Thank you
Steve Renner
Senior Project Manager
Colorado Inactive Mines Reclamation Program
101 South 3`d Street, Room 301
Grand Junction Colorado, 81501
970-241-0336
Office of Office of
Mined Land Reclamation Denver • Grand Junction • Durango Active and Inactive Mines
