Emergency Change
Orders resulting in increased
Agreement price
or Completion time must be approved by a formal Change Order WITHIN 14 days. The following changes are
authorized at the direct of the
PROJECT MANAGER.
Item No.
DESCRIPTION OF CHANGES
$ Increase/Decrease
The Coal Basin Mine is a revoked permit site. Reclamation maintenance is
1
being completed using forfeited reclamation bond money.
+$9,750.00
An evaluation of the site has revealed that additional maintenance work is
s
required at other portions of the mine site due to erosion resulting from spring
runoff.
w
Road F near the former Mine 3 loadout facility will require gully repair work.
This work will consist of excavating the existing gullies that cross the
reclaimed roadway so that the side slopes do not exceed a 3H : 1V
configuration, and so that the centerline elevation of the gully blends with
adjacent topography at the inlet and outlet. Excavated dirt will be placed on
the down-slope side of each excavation.
A former culvert crossing of a tributary to Coal Creek on Road G near the
Coal Basin town site will require significant excavation and grading in order
i
that the side slopes of the stream crossing are stable. Side slopes above the
creek elevation will be excavated to a 1.5H : 1V configuration. Excavated dirt
will be placed adjacent to the stream crossing on either side of the
excavation. Any culvert remnants located adjacent to the excavation will be
retrieved, crushed flat and buried in a location to adjacent to Road G in the
immediate vicinity of the stream crossing.
Because the access to the areas to be maintained have been previously
reclaimed, the track excavator must access each work area from the Lamp
house under its own power.
It is estimated that up to 75 hours of machine time will be required at an
hourly rate of $130.00 per hour, with operator.
Net Change in Agreement
Price: +$9,750.00 Net Change
in Agreement Time: + 10 days
This document shall become an a ment to the Agreement.
