Specifically, the requested TR releases RMCC from the requirement of installing a
1/2" "French Drain System" to maintain the 1iistoric groundwater regimsupplying the ditch.
On November 12, 2009 the Division of a ation, Mang and Safety (the
Division) approved Amendment 002 (AM -2) to RMCC's Bromley Lakes sand and gravel
mining operation. The Division's approval stipulated that:
"Ready Mixed Concrete Company shall not disturb the McCanne Ditch and land within
200 feet of the McCanne Ditch until they have submitted and received approval from the
Division of a Technical Revision with plans for the French Drain System.*** The
Technical Revision shall contain engineering plans and details about the location of the
French Drain System that will be installed to transmit groundwater to the ditch to
maintain the groundwater regime supplying the ditch. Also, the operator will need to post
sufficient financial warranty to cover the cost of the installation of the French Drain
System.
OR
The operator will need to submit and receive approval of a Technical Revision showing
the French Drain System is not necessary.
***This stipulation shall not apply to areas mined adjacent to the McCanne Ditch
originally permitted for relocation under the existing and currently approved mining and
reclamation plan."
Wetlands Rinhind
Errnonniental A lanailcnuva
Land LEc f'lannni
ReeReeLlinaholl L)esi )n
Pumiltrd s Zonnt l
