Cripple Creek & Victor Gold Mining Company <br />Cresson Project Amended Amendment 11 <br />1-2 <br />1.2 Amendment 11 Activities Submitted December 16, 2015 <br />The activities submitted with Amendment 11 are summarized below. More details may be found <br />in the December 16, 2015 Project Description, which was included in Volume I of the <br />Amendment 11 application. <br />• Modify mining practices to permit underground mining of ore from the Chicago Tunnel <br />mine area; <br />• Modify the permit boundary to incorporate a portion of Poverty Gulch that will include <br />sediment pond 9a previously approved in Amendment 10; <br />• Incorporate the Chicago Tunnel/Proper Adit MLRB Permit No. M-1988-026 into the <br />Main Cresson Permit No. M-1980-244; <br />• Postpone backfilling WHEX and Main Cresson mine areas; <br />• Modify mining plan and backfill sequence for the Globe Hill and Schist Island mine <br />areas; <br />• Modify the elevation of final ECOSA; <br />• Modify the reclamation plan to account for changes to backfill plans and overburden <br />storage areas; <br />• Modify access issues and haul routes between the Chicago Tunnel and Cresson <br />property; <br />• Modify final stacking plans for the AGVLF; and <br />• Modify Amendment 10 affected land area to match the Amendment 11 permit <br />Boundary. <br /> <br /> 1.3 Amended Amendment 11 Activities <br />The changes included in this application amendment include the following: <br />• Incidental boundary adjustment; and <br />• Addition of the City of Victor Emergency Services cell/radio Tower at Little Grouse <br />Mountain on the west side of Highway 67. <br />As mentioned above, the primary objective of this amended application is to reflect incidental <br />adjustments that will be made to the permit boundary. Included with this amended application <br />are two new figures, Figure 1 and Figure 2, which show a comparison between the currently <br />approved MLE2/Amendment 10 boundary and the proposed amended Amendment 11 boundary <br />and a comparison between the Amendment 11 boundary proposed in December 2015 and the <br />proposed amended Amendment 11 boundary. <br /> <br />The location for the Little Grouse Mountain, City of Victor Emergency Services cell/radio tower <br />is presented on Drawing C-3, Revision 2, which is included in Exhibit C. <br />
