The particle -size control section is sandy clay loam, clay or <br />clay loam, stratified with thin lenses of fine sandy loam in some pedons. The clay content <br />averages 28 to 35 percent. The content of rock fragments is 0 to 15 percent, and the fragments <br />are predominately gravel -sized.
