Dear Mr. Mathews:
• In accordance with Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board for
Coal Mining's Rule 2.06.5(2xe), we do hereby request that variances from approximate
original contours at the Roadside Mine portals, as described in Permit Revision 3, be
granted. As surface owner's of the land to which the variance will be applied, we are
aware that the Division would be unable to grant the variance without our written
request.
