6.3.3 Exhibit C —Mining Plan
Mine Overview
The proposed mining plan is a 110(1) Limited Impact Operation of<5 acres. This is a small
operation removing limited amounts of a thin vein that varies from 6 inches to 3 feet in width
using an excavator. Total length of trench is<350 feet in length with majority of trench less than
6 to 10 feet in width.
The amount of material removed is estimated between 300 to 1,500 cubic yards per year. Total
operation is estimated at less than 3,000 to 4,000 cubic yards over the life of the limited impact
operation. It would be worth noting that a large mining operation removes this amount of
material in just a few days. This proposed mining operation plans to carefully remove this
amount of material over several years.
A few notes on this mine:
• No large mining trucks utilized
• All material processed on site using a recycled water system
• No dangerous chemicals and No leaches
• No explosives
• All material removed by an excavator and hand sorted
• Top Soil and Waste Rock separated and stored in different locations
(a) Specify estimated dates that mining will commence and end
Proposed date for mining commencement is March 31, 2016 with end date on or before July
1, 2025.
(b) Estimated depth of soil
All topsoil above bedrock which is estimated 2-4 inches will be stockpiled and preserved.
Topsoil is to be stockpiled as shown in Exhibit E Map Number 2. The topsoil is placed in a
rectangular structure built on-site with logs from trees cut down during process of mining
activity measuring roughly 8' x 8' x 4' height. Top soil will be covered by tarp(s) during non-
activity at mine. Top soil is to be used for berms, roads and to cover backfill from trenching.
Note: Top soil stored in bins will be used for covering trench backfill.
As part of the mining plan the topsoil removed will be replaced from original position within
180 days of removal with the exception during winter months.
Teton Drilling Inc.
Dixie Mine-Clear Creek County,CO
Updated Revisions—February 4,2016
Page I 5
