Explanation? <br />Response: <br />The current industry standard specification for the minimum average geomembrane <br />thickness for textured liner is the "nominal thickness-5%"(Geosynthetic Institute GRI Test <br />Method GM 17 Table 2a -Linear Low Density Polyethylene (LLDPE) Geomembrane <br />(TEXTURED). For 80 -mil LLDPE Textured liner, the minimum average thickness is 76 <br />mils. The rolls noted by the Division are within acceptable limits. We have included Table <br />2(a) from the Geosynthetic Institute Test Method GM17 with this response for reference. <br />Amec Foster Wheeler accepts Geosynthetic Institutes Test Method GM17 (as industry <br />standard) and the geomembrane was acceptable for use.
