EFCI has stated that the damage to this culvert is not significant because the hole is not under
the load bearing road surface. Rule and regulation 4.03.1(4)(e)(iii) requires culvert construction to prevent inlet
end erosion. With the culvert hole allowing water to go under the culvert, it is very probable that the inlet end
erosion will only progress until the damage is under the road travel portion of the road.
Doug Corley
https://mail.googl e.com/m ai I/u/0/?ui=2&i k=e29129fcb5&view=pt&search=i nbox&th=152c65bcl8622967&si m l=152c65bcl8622967 1/2
