EXHIBIT A: LEGAL DESCRIPTION
The affected lands of the mine site are comprised of the following mining claims:
• White Marble Lode MS411
• London Lode MS4411
• Discovery Lode MS4411
• Dolomite Lode MS4530
• Emperor Lode MS4530
• Empress Lode MS4530
• Italian Lode MS4530
• Prince Arthur Lode MS4530
• Yule Lode MS4530
• White Marble Placer No 2.
Claims can be seen on Map C-1.
The entirety of these claims are included in the 112c Permit Boundary. All boundaries are
monumented. Where the site can be accessed by the public, signage will be placed to limit access
and warn of an active mining operation. The lode claims are located at the apex of the marble outcrop
and grant extra -lateral rights to access to deposit beneath the public lands. The western boundary
near the Jefferson Quarry will be fenced to prevent unauthorized and wildlife access from the steep
quarry faces.
All surrounding lands of the mine are either patented claims owned by the United States Forest
Service (USFS) or public lands managed by the USFS. However, no activities are anticipated on the
USFS therefore a Plan of Operations is not necessary.
Part of the historic millsite in the Town of Marble is included in the permit boundary. This site is
used as a transload facility only. No mining activities occur at this site.
The Pride of America DRMS 112c
Exhibit A - 1 12/23/15
