(EFCI) is pleased to submit this request for partial bond release pertaining to <br />the Southfield Mine Site located near Florence, Colorado. The accompanying application was <br />assembled as required by the applicable Rules governing coal mining and as further recommended <br />in the Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety document Guideline Regarding Selected Coal <br />Mine Bond Release Issues, April 18, 1995. <br />This is the fourth request for bond release over the life of the Southfield Mine. Two previous bond <br />release applications were approved in 1997 and 2003; the third is currently under review by the <br />Division. The attached application includes a request for bond and liability release for specific areas <br />as described further in the application. <br />Energy Fuels appreciates your prompt attention and cooperation in this matter.
