To date,
MCC has completely mined -out longwall panels E1 through E5 and began longwall mining panel E6
during the 3rd Quarter of 2015. At the end of 4d' Quarter 2015, MCC had mined out longwall panel E6 up
to cross -cut 56.
There were no stock ponds within twice the angle of draw during this quarter, and mining was not within
a mile of Monument Dam. Monthly inspections did continue, however winter weather and ground
conditions did not permit inspections in November or December. All inspections will continue when road
and weather conditions allow. Routine inspection reports for Monument Dam, Forest Service Roads, and
Stock Ponds are included with this letter.
Should you have any questions please feel free to contact me at (970) 929-2308.
Sincerely,
Jessi6 Loveland, P.E.
Environmental Engineer
Enclosures: Monument Dam Inspections — Fourth Quarter 2015
US Forest Service Road Inspections — Fourth Quarter 2015
Stock Pond Inspections — Fourth Quarter 2015
cc: D.
