TC is
replacing the compressor units with new units which are larger and have greater capacity to meet the needs of the
ongoing Wolf Creek development and mining operations. The larger units will require extension of the existing
compressor pad and the enclosure building to the south. In conjunction with these modifications, TC will also add
a small pad and building extension on the north side of the existing building to enclose the compressor after -coolers
to facilitate inspection and maintenance. The south pad and building extension will have a footprint of 35 feet x
40.75 feet, and the north pad and building extension will be "L" -shaped, with a footprint of approximately 244
square feet. Both pad extensions will be 8 -inch concrete slabs resting on 12 -inch diameter by 20 -foot concrete piers
on 10 -foot centers. Pad layout and construction details are illustrated by the accompanying drawings. The building
extensions will be steel frame with coated corrugated metals siding, and will match the existing wall and roof
profiles.
The planned pad and building extensions will be within the existing 6MN pad disturbance area, so there will be no
new or additional surface disturbance, no additional environmental studies are required, no additional soil material
stripping will occur, and all areas are addressed by the existing drainage and sediment control structures. The 6MN
Compressor installation will remain in place as long as needed to support ongoing and future mining and related
activities. Reclamation of this installation will involve removal of the compressors and associated support and
control equipment and systems, salvage or demolition of the building enclosures and pads, demolition of concrete
piers to at least 3 feet below final grade, removal from the site or use of concrete demolition debris as backfill
material for the shaft, regrading and drainage reestablishment, soil material replacement, and revegetation.
This submittal includes revised PAP text and exhibits addressing the location, configuration, operation,
maintenance, and reclamation of the proposed 6MN Compressor building modifications. New and revised PAP
materials are identified by the attached Summary of Revisions/Additions. We would like to proceed with this
project as soon as possible, to support our ongoing mining activities. We, therefore, appreciate your consideration,
cooperation, and assistance in facilitating timely review and approval of this revision application. After you have
opportunity to review the accompanying information, please feel free to contact me with any questions or to discuss
submittal materials or related matters.
Best regard
Twen ►le Co , LLC
r
Jerry .
