EXHIBIT G
WATER INFORMATION

The activities associated with Amendment 11 are not expected to affect surface or
groundwater systems over and above what was submitted as part of MLE2/Amendment
10. Exhibit G, through reference to the Sections of the Project Description itemized
below, contains a description of the ground and surface water conditions for the Cresson
Project. This Exhibit contains Drawing G-1, which shows surface water drainages and
ground water wells permitted through the Division of Water Resources/Office of the
State Engineer for a two-mile radius from the permit boundary. Appendix 2 in Volume II
also contains a compilation of groundwater and surface water data for the Cresson Project
and vicinity. Project water agreements are included as Appendix 9 in Volume IV of the
Amendment 11 documentation.

Drawing G-2 shows water rights for springs and surface water registered with the
Division of Water Resources/Office of the State Engineer within a two-mile radius. The
accompanying Project Description and appendices discuss the location of surface water
within the project area or on adjacent land as well as drainage and sediment control
measures used to manage runoff to protect surface and ground water resources. This
Exhibit and the accompanying discussions outlined below also identify any known
aquifers, and discuss the ground water system and the potential effects of the mining
operations on the ground water system. In addition, a discussion of project water
requirements and water supply is included in the Project Description. For a listing of
other permits existing at the site, including the existing permits with the Water Quality
Control Division, please see Exhibit M.

Information on surface and groundwater as well as project controls to eliminate potential
impacts is included in various parts of the Project Description in Volume I of this
application as outlined below.

Section 4.6 Hydrology

Section 5.0 Mining and Operations Management Plan

Section 6.0 High Grade Mill Facilities

Section 7.0 Valley Leach Facilities

Section 8.0 Precious Metals Recovery Facility

Section 10.0 Surface Water Management

Section 11.0 Monitoring

G-1
