The technical revision was not processed by the Division due to the <br /> lack of the required fee and the problem cited with the Operator's name. The I4ck of the required fee and the <br /> Operator name was discussed with Mr. Kyle Schildt with LTE at the time of the slubmittal. The Division will <br /> follow up under separate cover regarding the technical revision request. <br /> The approved post-mining land use for the site is developed water resource. Mining activities are complete <br /> and the site is in final reclamation. The slurry was approved by the Division of Water Resources on September <br /> 7, 2007. The slurry wall was breached during the 2013 flood event. The Operatpr will need to submit <br /> confirmation from the Division of Water Resources of the approved repaired sl�rry wall prior to Division <br /> consideration of a final release request. <br /> The lakes were dewatered during the inspection. Residential development is underway to the north of the <br /> site. Spillways have been constructed in the southwest corner of the site, between the eastern and western <br /> lakes and east end of the site as part of the 2013 flood repair work. The Operator will be required to update <br /> the approved reclamation plan for the site by submitting a technical revision totindicate the spillways and <br /> provide the spillway engineering designs. <br /> Evidence of recent regrading work was observed during the inspection. It app+s the grading was done in <br /> compliance with TR-05 to create wetland benches. The site vegetation consisteld of well-established native <br /> grasses, bare ground and areas of annual weeds. The site appeared stable and io erosion features were <br /> noted. <br /> The water samples from the filled lakes to determine if the fuel spill impacted the water quality as required by <br /> TR-03 have not been submitted by the Operator. The Operator must comply with this requirement of TR-03 <br /> prior to Division consideration of a final release request. <br /> The Division holds a financial warranty in the amount of$115,545.00, which is ufficient to complete <br /> reclamation at the site.
