The Grccr pit is an active 11uc gravid pit <br />located uff Luunty Kuaa 10u, 1.5 Miles northwest of Red Mesa, LU. The site is accessed By a tarm road across <br />the Greer property. The Division holds $y,5uu.uu in financial warranty fur the site. Five PRotus accompany <br />tRis report to illastrate current site conditions. <br />The site was active daring the time of the inspection, various Cyuipment including a loader, crusher, screen <br />and conveyors were u6servea on site and operating. Photos one and Two show the equipment that was <br />active during the day of the inspCctiun. i he operator cuntraat-t5 uut fur crushing and screening services, and <br />continually hauls tram the stockpiled material. The material being screened was being Cx%.avatcd from the <br />highwall shown in Photu i Rree lucatea in the southwest corner ut the distur6ea area. The operator explained <br />that that section was almost F,-Jnad out, and would be backfilled and seeded in the Fuming weeRs. i Fie sinal <br />contigaration will Be the approved 2:1 slope similar to what is shone in Photo Four. <br />Reclamation worn is ongoing in a phased mining and phased reclamation plan. A section of previously mined <br />Righwall has Been bauStilled and reseeded. Photo Four shows the approved 2:1 slopes, with vegetation <br />beginning to be established. Ido erosional issues ur noxious weeds were u5served on the reclaimed slope. <br />The pit tloor and all otFier disturbed areas exhibit positive drainage and no erosional issues were observed. <br />Stockpiles of material, uverburdCri and tupsuil were all observed. i Fie top soil and uver6orden stuLRpiles have <br />Been revegetated By volunteer vegetation and are stable. The Operator explained that chEmkal weed <br />treatment is ongoing. PRutu Five Aum, the stockpiled material as well as the one at the overBurden <br />stockpiles. Proper mine ID signage and permit boundary markers were observed. Photu Four snows one of <br />the Boundary marker signs, a majority of the Boundaries are marked with berms or barbed wiry fCncing. <br />The overall tootprint at the site was in good -unclitiuri, a, id free from trash and debris. Ido prublems or <br />pussi6ie violations were tound during this inspection.
