December 15, 2015 C-1996-083/13owie No. 2 Mine JHB <br />throughout the mine site, with no issues noted. <br />PROCESSING WASTE/COAL MINE WASTE PILES — Rule 4.10 and 4.11 Drainage Control; Surface <br />Stabilization; Placement: <br />Gob Pile #I <br />Gob Pile #I has been inactive. Technical Revision No. 97 was approved and provides a variance from the <br />requirement of Rule 4.10.4(4) for 0.2 acres of Gob Pile Al where the slope was identified as being greater than 2:1. <br />Gob Pile Al was snow covered. <br />C,nh Pile 97. <br />Gob Pile 42 was snow covered with a heavy amount of snow. No activities were on-going during the inspection <br />due to the weather. Gob material had been windrowed in the area on the east side of the pile and was very stable <br />and snow covered with no issues. <br />Gob Pile 42 <br />Gob Pile 43 <br />No material was being placed or moved at the time of the inspection. The pile was graded and snow covered. The <br />pile was stable with no evidence of instability or damage. TR -105 is currently under review by the Division to <br />expand the foot print of Gob Pile 43. <br />Gob Pile 94 <br />Reclamation of the west side of Gob Pile #4 is completed. Cover material is placed on the three lower benches <br />that have been backfilled and graded to final configuration. The upper bench remains open for additional refuse <br />placement. Topsoil has been placed and erosion control mat is in place. Gob Pile 44 was snow covered. <br />ROADS — Rule 4.03 Construction 4.03.1(3)/4.03.2(3) Drainage 4.03.1(4)/4.03.2(4) Surfacing and Maintenance <br />4.03.1(5) and (6)/4.03.2(5) and (6) Reclamation 4.03.1(7)/4.03.2(7): <br />All roads throughout the facilities area were snow packed at the time of the inspection. The main facilities road <br />was plowed with plowing operations on-going throughout the facilities area during the inspection.
