He is a degreed scientist with 29 years of <br />professional experience in the environmental sciences. At MMA, Mr. Garman is <br />responsible for modeling and permitting of stationary sources, particularly those in the <br />mining industry. His project experience includes both coal and hardrock operations. Other <br />duties include data analysis and quality assurance. He has also been responsible for <br />installing, calibrating, and auditing air quality and meteorological monitoring systems. <br />Previously, Mr. Garman has been a crew leader for many studies to evaluate and develop <br />emission factors for fugitive dust at surface coal mines, steel plants, grain elevators, <br />construction activities, and paved and unpaved roads. He is also skilled in source testing at <br />municipal, and hazardous waste incinerators.
