Trujillo <br />Environmental Protection Specialist <br />Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety <br />1313 Sherman St., Room 215 <br />Denver, Colorado 80203 <br />Re: McClane Canyon Mine (Permit No. C-1981-004), Technical Revision No. 17 (TR -17), Sediment Control <br />Plan (HC #69334) <br />Dear Mr. Trujillo: <br />Thank you for your correspondence dated November 30, 2015 (received by our office on December 4, 2015) <br />regarding the above referenced technical revision. <br />Following our review of the documentation provided, it is our opinion that a finding of no historic properties <br />affected is appropriate for the proposed activities pursuant to 36 CFR 800.4(d)(1). <br />The Section 106 consultation process does involve other consulting parties such local governments and Tribes <br />which as stipulated in 36 CFR 800.3 are required to be notified of the undertaking. Additional information <br />provided by these or other consulting parties may cause our office to re-evaluate our comments and <br />recommendations. <br />Should unidentified archaeological resources be discovered in the course of the project, work must be <br />interrupted until the resources have been evaluated in terms of the National Register of Historic Places eligibility <br />criteria (36 CFR 60.4) in consultation with our office. <br />Thank you for the opportunity to comment.
