The revegetated areas will be monitored for production and will be deemed successful when the pro- <br />duction of live perennial vegetation reaches 90% of its pre -mine level of 1000 pounds per acre, or <br />900 pounds per acre. <br />7. Monitoring Reclamation Success <br />Monitoring the reclamation on an ongoing basis will help to assure successful reclamation. The op- <br />erator plans to use the local SCS office in Rio Blanco County to assist in determining the ability of <br />the reclaimed land to control erosion and any other suggestions which may enhance the reclamation <br />of the site. If minor changes or modifications are needed to the seeding and reclamation plan, revi- <br />sion plans will be submitted to the Division as required. It is hoped that the Division will provide <br />assistance in evaluating the success of the ongoing reclamation process. All areas disturbed and re- <br />claimed and any other important items regarding the reclamation will be submitted in the annual re- <br />ports to the Division. <br />Berry Pit 3/02 19 <br />
