RECLAMATION PLAN
plan with the plan for the overall area. This is necessary because the new reclamation plan for the
entire site modifies some of the topography originally included in the Little Johnson plan so as to
create a smoother and more attractive blending of the Little Johnson area with the rest of the area.
In this "blending" section of this exhibit, any issues regarding impacts on the groundwater
remediation program are addressed, but suffice it to say here that in designing this "blending" of
the topography the remediation program was taken into account.
LITTLE JOHNSON AMENDMENT
Reclamation Plan
(This portion is deleted as it is addressed elsewhere in the overall reclamation plan)
Selected Final hand Us-e
range-past-are-wildlife
options.revegetation of the land as it is mined. That final land use remains. "Revegetation" would be thC
most accurate description of the reclamation goal, but thaf is not a final land tise. The above
selected conybination provides for revegetation mid fbr the flexibility to change that t1se as tile
operation nears completion.
Nf any diff-erent uses f6r thlis land are being considered at this time, incindi—t,
construction, aqttifr recharge, highway constru'.LiUll, tecteation, and a number of other
f f owever, nothing has been finalized at this time. Therefore, tising the most flexible end nse is
inost appiopriate. Many of these uses and possible ffitnre changes are part of the process of
adjnsting land uses in ban area.
(This portion is deleted as it is addressed elsewhere in the overall reclamation plan)
'West of Academy Boulevard
No chmiges in the reclaination plan are needed fbr this area at this finie. Virtually the
entire pemiitted areawest of Academy Bottlevard is being used for something. The existing plat
is still being implemented, but changes may be needed in the future as the operation approaches
Completion—.
Daniels Sand Pit Amendment (2008) Exhibit E Page 4 of 22
