<br /> OBSERVATIONS
<br /> This was a routine monitoring inspection of the Morgan County 112c Harvey Green Pit conducted by DRMS EPS Eric
<br /> Scott. DRMS accompanied Morgan County representative John Goodman to the site at approximately 10:00 and toured
<br /> the site with him.
<br /> The mine identification sign was present at the site entrance located off the north side of county road GG approximately
<br /> 1/4 mile east of the intersection of Highway 71 and county road GG. The 80 acre permit was marked by fences on the
<br /> south, east and north sides, and posts adjacent to the west side of the topsoil stockpile on the west side.
<br /> The site appears to be well run and maintained and in compliance with the approved mining plan at this time, and the
<br /> concurrent reclamation on the east slope of the pit is well established. The only item noted that requires attention at
<br /> this time is the presence of a small amount of knapweed in the disturbed area at the north end of the site. Measures
<br /> should be implemented to eradicate the knapweed early before it becomes a persistent issue. No other issues were
<br /> noted during this inspection.
