PERMIT#:M-1979-210
INSPECTOR'S INITIALS: ECS
INSPECTION DATE:November 23,2015
OBSERVATIONS
This was a routine monitoring inspection of the Morgan County 112c Vancil Pit conducted by DRMS EPS Eric Scott.
DRMS accompanied Morgan County representative John Goodman to the site at approximately 0930 and toured the site
with him. The mine identification sign was present at the site entrance, and the permit boundary was marked by a
combination of fences and steel T-posts.
The site appears to be well run and maintained in compliance with the approved mining plan at this time. The
concurrent reclamation on the south slope of the pit is well established. The only item noted that requires some
attention at this time is the presence of some residual erosion gullies on the east pit wall from the heavy rains in the
spring of 2015. As discussed on site, these gullies should be repaired and stabilized so they do not worsen. No other
issues were noted during this inspection.
Inspection Contact Address
John Goodman
Morgan County
17303 CR S
Fort Morgan,CO 80701
PHOTOGRAPHS
a _
f ';:..
_
Ilk ir- 411
*1114'-'''''..114111r ".6.'"-
- : Sia ^'
7 :7
-' .
t.,
c
lb, -: ., •
