The following information was sent to DRMS by Al Weaver of Energy Fuels Coal Inc. (EFCI) in November 2015. In
the EFCI files in Florence, this is an addendum to the SPCC plan. This plan is not in Laserfiche as part of the DRMS
permit (nor is that a requirement).
Per information from ACZ Laboratories, the qualifier of "U" stands for "not detected at the indicated MDL." "MDL"
stands for Method Detection Limit. For the analysis performed by ACZ (1664A -Gravimetric), the MDL is 2.0, which
is one-fifth of the oil and grease effluent limit in the Southfield CDPS permit.
Because the parameter oil and grease was not detected in the sample, this discharge from the truck tunnel to Pond 5 was
not reported to the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment.
