Mr. Huntington uses three traveling "big guns" to irrigate his fields, which <br />produce hay that is later cut and baled. <br />The Crawford family owns properties generally south of Pine Gulch, on CR 121. <br />Subsidence cracks were discovered near Marc Crawford's residence in 2002. We met <br />with Tom Crawford, who showed us where the cracks had been. He said the mine <br />originally dispatched an employee to repair some of the cracks, but that the others <br />healed with time. After we left the property, Mr. Crawford sent a photo of one crack that <br />still exists, next to a two -track road northeast of the Crawford homes.
