CESAR PIT (112) Permit Amendment Application
Permit # 1998-101
Tony J. Beltramo and Sons, Inc.
November 17, 2015
EXHIBIT E
RECLAMATION PLAN
• Please see Reclamation Plan on file.
The reclamation plan will include the additional site preparation guidance of
using a cover crop including sorghum, oats, millet, barley or tridacale (sterile
wheat), seeded in the summer, then in fall drill reclamation seed including
switch grass in the sandy areas on soil preparation and grading consisting of
minor undulation, with rougher surfaces preferred over smooth compacted
areas prone to runoff. Soil types throughout the site will be researched upon
final grading of areas to be reclaimed and seed mixes, including cover crop
seeding, will be subject further consultation with the soil conservation service
and local seed companies to optimize results. Cover crop will be mowed to a
height of 1-2 feet annually, and before reclamation seeding.
All slopes will be finished 3:1. Rip -Rap (size L or K) will be placed for erosion
control at locations where arroyo's enter and exit the property.
The weed control plan includes recent action to remove tamarisk plants
within permitted boundary, and any other noxious weeds encountered.
6
