COLORADO <br />Division of Reclamation, <br />Mining( and Safety <br />Department of Natural Resources <br />1313 Sherman Street, Room 215 <br />Denver, CO 80203 <br />November 18, 2015 <br />Brian Watterson <br />Twenty Mile Coal Company <br />29515 Routt County Road 927 <br />Oak Creek, CO 80467 <br />RE: Foidel Creek Mine; C-1982-056 <br />DMR Submittal Review (3Q; CO -0036684,3Q; COG -850051,3Q; COG -850054,3Q and <br />September 2015; CO -0027154,3Q; CO -0042161) <br />Dear Mr. Watterson: <br />The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety (CDRMS) has reviewed and found the above <br />referenced reports to be in compliance with Rule 4.05.13(2)(a)(iii). The Discharge Monitoring Reports <br />for the above CDPS permit was received by the Division on October 28, 2015 via e-mail. <br />30, CO -0036684: Site 62 (Fish Creek Tipple — "Pond E") discharged each week, no exceedances were <br />reported. <br />30; COG -850051: According to the report, the 6MN pond did not discharge during the third quarter. <br />30; COG -850054: According to the report the 18LT pond did not discharge during the third quarter. <br />30 and September 2015; CO -0027154: According to the report, none of the outfalls flowed during the <br />month of September. Pond B flowed each week in July and August. Pond D flowed each week in July <br />and the first two weeks in August. Pond E flowed during the second week in July only. Ponds T, C, F <br />and G did not flow during the third quarter. <br />30; CO -0042161: Site 115 was reported to have not discharged during the monitoring period. Site <br />002A (Waste Water Treatment Ponds) were reported to have discharged each week of July but did not <br />discharge in August and September.
