Compliance With Mine Plan - Support Facilities Not On-site <br />RN <br /> - Other - Special Categories Of Mining <br />NR <br /> - Processing Waste - Topsoil <br /> <br /> <br />COMMENTS <br /> <br />This was a partial inspection of the Colowyo Mine conducted by Zach Trujillo of Colorado Division of <br />Reclamation, Mining and Safety (DRMS) on October 28, 2015. Charles Tipp representing Colowyo Coal <br />Company (Colowyo) accompained the inspection. The weather was clear and ground conditions were mostly dry. <br />Temperatures for the day were around forty five degrees fahrenheit. <br />BACKFILL and GRADING Rule 4.14 <br />Contemporaneous Reclamation 4.14.1; Approximate Original Contour 4.14.2; Highwall Elimination 4.14.1(2)(f); <br />Steep Slopes 4.14.2, 4.27; Handling of Acid and Toxic Materials 4.14.3; Stabilization of Rills and Gullies 4.14.6: <br />Backfilling and grading was inspected along the current reclamation activities along the West Pit. Dozers were <br />working on grading on the upper elevations of the reclamation while multiple trucks were laying down topsoil <br />along the area. The area was well graded with no issues observed. <br /> <br />West Pit reclamation. <br />
