Comments: Directional/ anqle hole attempted twice to vent me thane in bleeder in
west end of panel 8. Both attempts, with different contractors, failed.
First attempt: REI Drilling sticks directional motor after encountering voids in gob.
(drilled post- longwalling). Unable to retrieve, cemented in place during abandonment.
Open hole abandone to surface with 4 cubic yds. Portland Type II cement, December, 2006.
Second attempt: Target Drillinq unable to drill/ set surface casino on orooer alianment. dismissed.
