Well Yield and Source of Water
The amount of water claimed is 0.133 cubic feet of water per second (60
gpm). The source of water is a well having a depth of 42 feet and being
tributary to the Colorado River. Use of this well is limited to those time
periods when water is not available in the Government Highline Canal of
the Grand Valley Project.
Use of Water
The use of the water is industrial use associated with electrical power
generation. Cameo No. 1 was utilized by Public Service of Colorado to
provide a temporary source of water for use in spray ponds for cooling
purposes.
