The underground
mine remained closed except for required care and maintenance work. The full
servicing daily of our WQCD/CD mine water discharge system was completed
non - stop. All related record keeping was maintained in the mine office. We
stayed in full compliance with all of our permits during this reporting year. We
constructed a new concrete measuring weir in the Coon Track Creek
approximately 275 feet above our point discharge. This allows us to take daily
flows of the creek water above our discharge for future mass balance credit by
the Colorado Health Department WQCD. We completed all required work for
our ATF permit, MSHA oversite, our Storm Water permit and for our Air Permit.
All buildings and facilities were kept in top shape. Daily safety inspections are
made at our escape way raise on the Crown Point Shaft, the old Potosi Shaft and
the Comstock shaft house. Weekly inspections are made around historic mine
dumps on Caribou Hill and surrounding areas.
Having fully completed a full settlement in September of 2014 through 22 sets
of legal closing documents, Calais Resources Inc. / Calais Resources Colorado,
Inc. settled all matters with New West Capital and Tom Wiens. Calais Resources
again fully controls the Caribou assets. New West Capital nor Tom Wiens has no
right, title or ownership of our assets at the Caribou project. The Denver law
