I spoke with David Payton with S&S Salvage yesterday morning, and the Williams Fork clean-up work was
completed Monday afternoon. The e-mail below from Aleta Brown of Norwest summarizes the analysis results,
and confirms that they have now revised their Environmental Review Report to eliminate the "Recognized
Environmental Condition". Given that they found two additional fluid-containing drums which have not been
characterized, we will make arrangements for characterization and proper disposal of the drums which have been
removed from the ravine and placed in a safe and accessible location.
I'm also going to have a contractor remove the small amount of material from the soil staining area identified in
the report and e-mail, and put it in a drum for disposal, and place silt fence and/or straw wattles below the areas
disturbed by the clean-up activities and downstream in the ravine to capture and control any sediment. I will
make arrangements to have the disturbed areas seeded before the snow flies—
