Operation Impacts. This section identifies all potential hydrologic impacts and
identifies and evaluates proposed control and mitigation measures. The discussion
presented in Section 2.05.6 effectively justifies the conclusion that there will be no
long term adverse changes to the prevailing hydrologic balance in the Southfield mine,
loadout, or adjacent areas.
The primary post- mining land use in the mine, loadout, and adjacent areas will be
rangeland and wildlife habitat, requiring minimal supporting water requirements. The
