The Division was under the impression that the 14 -inch diameter barren solution line would be
double contained when crossing the unlined area between the SGVLF and the AGVLF. Section
callout A/D200 appears to be off the liner area and the corresponding detail does not show double
containment. Similarly, Detail B/D200 implies the pipe-in-pipe/sleeve design is only required "If
Vehicle Access Is Required". Please provide clarification and revise Drawing D200 as appropriate.
Section A/D200 is shown as being within the Mill Platform Drainline Containment Area on Drawing
D200. This area is lined and is depicted as such on the drawing (dashed line labeled as Mill
Platform Drainline Containment Area Liner Limits — three labels). There is also a dashed line
depicting the Liner Limit for the Squaw VLF which is also labeled. Section B/D200 is located in the
area between the two liner extents. The unlined area is also shown/labeled on the profile. The title
under Section B/D200 is not intended to suggest that this section of pipe will only be `pipe -in pipe "
if vehicle access is required, it was intended to show how the pipe would be protected/covered if
vehicle access were required. The pipe section will be `pipe -in pipe " where it is off liner regardless
of any access needs.
