C'. Project Description. Describe all aspects of the operation including mining. milling. and
exploration methods. materials, equipment. workforce. constriction and operation schedule, power
requirements. how dealing will be accomplished. topsoil stockpile, waste rock placement. tailings
disposal. proposed munbei of drillholes and depth. depth of proposed suction dredging. and liow
gravels will be replaced. etc. C'alculate pioduction rates of ore. Include justification and
calculations for settling pond capacities. and the size of runoff diversion channels.
The annual operational period will be from may through october, with myself and occassionally
one other volunteer (son, brother, or guest). Work sessions will last 1-2 weeks every other month,
depending upon weather.
Exposing the entrance will be done with handtools & wheel barrows, with approximately 9 cubic
yards of tailings moved adjacent to the slot. Wood walls will be constructed using 4x6 PT lumber &
'landscape timbers', and involve the typical tools (hammer, hand saw, circular saw, small
chainsaw, drill, 8k power generator). A roof (3/4"x 8' plywood) will be above mine entrance. A
steel gate/door will secure the entrance (use of arc welder - may also be used to fabricate bracing
inside mine). Use of ATV & trailer to move supplies.
Prospecting in the mine will require installing electric lighting and ventilation systems powered by
portable generator (8k). Production of ore and tailings will be less than 1 ton/work session
(potentially much less), and be moved off-site for processing. I am looking for property in/near
Florissant to build a cabin & shop. Residence in Texas will also be used. Processing will involve
grinding and washing. NO leaching. An ATV/trailer will more ore down the existing trail for
loading on a trailer.
(If more space is needed to fill out a block of information, nse additional streets and attach form)
-3-
