I <br />RECLAMATION PLAN NARRATIVE FOR: <br />BUNN RANCH PIT <br />PERMIT #: M-1980-022 <br />Moffat County,Colorado <br />October 21, 2015 <br />INTRODUCTION — This narrative statement is intended to respond to the requirements <br />contained within the Mineral Rules and Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land <br />Reclamation Board for the Extraction of Construction Materials. For the purposes of this <br />narrative, all information contained herein relates to the Amended August 2006 version of <br />the rules and regulations. <br />TECHINICAL REVISION - 3 <br />INCLUSION OF AN APPROVED WETLANDS MITIGATION AREA <br />Located at the Bunn Ranch Pit a parcel of land lying in the SW 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Section <br />6, Township 6 North, Range 90 West pf the 6th Principal Meridian, Moffat County, <br />Colorado. The Legal Description as follows: <br />Beginning at the S1/4 Corner of Section 6, Township 6 North, Range 90 West of the 6th <br />Principal Meridian thence N 25°11'34" E 1,450.59 feet to the Point of Beginning thence <br />along the following courses; S 70°53'36" E 566.75 feet; thence S 19°06'24" W 726.25 <br />feet to a point on the centerline of the Yampa River, thence along the approximate <br />centerline of the Yampa River S 76°15'50" W 181.91 feet; thence S 79°44'30" W 43.59 <br />feet; thence N 89°48'36" W 397.39 feet; thence leaving said centerline of the Yampa <br />River N 19°06'24" E 975.12 feet to the Point of Beginning.* <br />Deed Restriction Area (Wetlands Area) contains approximately 11.3 acres.* <br />Elam Construction upon approval of the mitigation proposal will implement all conditions <br />of the approved mitigation plan in order to create and establish a wonderful Wetlands <br />Area for the local wildlife species and alternative post mining land use. This site in the <br />southwest corner of the property will be constructed and maintained until success <br />criteria in accordance with the approved Wetlands Mitigation Site is met, including: <br />III. Soils <br />Once the success criteria is met and concurrently approved by the EPA, Elam <br />Construction will notify the DRMS with documented correspondence and request a <br />release of the Wetlands Area.
