Please address the comments noted in <br />the letters and make any changes to the application as necessary. <br />6.4.1 Exhibit A — Legal Description <br />No comment. <br />6.4.2 Exhibit B — No Comment <br />No comment. <br />6.4.3 Exhibit C — Pre -mining and Mining Plan Map of Affected Lands <br />4. A review of the original structure list provided under Exhibit S, shows that there are <br />permanent man-made structures which have not been labeled on Exhibit C-1 Pre -Mine Map. <br />Please provide a revised copy of Exhibit C-1 Pre -Mine Map with all permanent man-made <br />structures labeled; see additional comments under Exhibit S, Item No. 29. <br />6.4.4 Exhibit D — Mining Plan <br />5. The materials processing area is currently located within the western half of Reservoir #4. <br />Please specify where the processing area will be located when the remainder of Reservoir #4 <br />is mined out. <br />6. The Applicant has indicated that overburden which was stripped from the processing area <br />was stockpiled immediately to the east. Please specify where topsoil from the processing area <br />was stockpiled and specify where the overburden stockpile will be moved to when the east <br />half of Reservoir is mined out. <br />7. Exhibit C-1 — Pre -Mine Plan Map shows that Reservoir #4 is located within a 100 year <br />floodplain. However, the floodplain is not identified. Please specify the water course which <br />corresponds to the floodplain and specify the distance between Reservoir #4 and the water <br />course. <br />8. The currently approved Mining Plan states that no overburden or topsoil would be stockpiled <br />within the floodplain. However, during the inspection conducted on July 30, 2015 the <br />Division observed stockpiles adjacent to the material processing area which were within the <br />floodplain. Please provide a technical justification for locating stockpiles within the <br />floodplain. <br />9. The currently approved Mining Plan calls for maintaining 3H:1V mine slope as the <br />excavation approached the limits of mining. The Operator was unable to obtain structure <br />
