NOTICE OF PROPOSED DECISION The Colorado Division of Reclama- tion, Mining and Safety proposes to approve Technical Revision Appllce- tion No. 66 (TR -66) for the Roadside Portals (Permit No. C-1981-041), sub- mitted by Snowcap Coal Company, Inc. TR -66 was submitted to address the adequacy review comments that were raised during the Midterm Per- mit Review 7 (MT -7). The Roadside Portals is a/an under- grod coal mine located in Mesa Coununty, approximately 5 miles N of Palisade, Colorado. Coal interest is federal and private, and the surface affected is federal and private land. The permit area encompasses ap- proximately 2,786.00 acres. This proposed decision is based on a finding that the proposed opera- tion will comply with all require- ments of the Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation Act, Section 34 33101, at seq., C.R.S., and the regu- lations promulgatAd thereunder. Persons with an in terest that may be adversely affec- ted by the proposed decision may request a formal hearing before the Mined Land Reclamation Board on the proposed decision. Such re- quest must be made within ten (10) days of the initial publication of this' notice, must be in writing, and must' state with reasonable specificity the reasons for the request and the ob- jections to the proposed decision.
