4
2. The ARR form is out of agreement. The table listing "cumulative total acres
disturbed" = 1,290.2. But further down on the form in the statement, "For the
Entire Life of Mine, the total number of acres disturbed 1,291.5 and the total
number of acres:" These two values should be equivelent. Please correct this
form. The corrected 2013 ARR form reported this value as 1,290.2. Page 2 of the
2014 ARR state the total disturbance is 1,291.5. If the GIS excersize has resulted
in the the total diturbance equal to 1,291.5, the Division will adjust the database.
However, the reported value needs to be consistent throughout the form.
The Division has reviewed SCC's GIS database. The Division concurs that the corrected
Phase I bond released acreage should be 1,270.4. The Division concurs that the corrected
Phase II bond release acreage should be 797.8. The Division concurs total disturbed
acreage should be 1,291.5. These values leave 2 1. 1 acres that have not received any
bond release at this time.
The Division requests that SCC make the noted corrections and resubmit the corrected
chronologic seeding map, and the 2014 ARR form.
If we need to discuss these items further, please contact me.
Sincerely,
Janet
H.
