He
states the area to be 0.29 acres. The correct area is 0.42 acres; the sides of the parallelogram are 98.46 ft. by
187.17 ft. with an altitude (distance from one corner perpendicular to the opposite side) of 96.96 ft., giving an
area of 18148 sq. ft. or 0.42 acres which is 45% greater than in the report. I have not been able to survey the
boundary of the new vegetation reference area because there are no permanent markers, but it would appear that
the Black Hawk portal disturbance area has been included within this new area. A previous directive from Janet
Binns was that this box cut disturbance was to be excluded. Will these reference area corrections make any
difference? Since the weighing factors, formulae, and calculations are so exacting and precise, I am sure that
you would want to have the correct areas.
WD Corley, Jr.
https://mail.googl e.com/m ai I/u/0/?ui=2&i k=e29129fcb5&view=pt&search= i nbox&th=15O668af55795l db&si m l=150668af55795l db 1 /1
