Planning: Continuing construction activities and scheduling for the VLF. CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES AND PROGRESS: I) Earthworks A) VLF (PSSA, Phase 1, and 2) Structural Fill: The following Structural Fill haul to fill and grading activities occurred: A Cat excavator loaded John Deere 740 haul trucks with Structural Fill from below station FM7+00. The material was transported to station F26+00 where a Cat dozer placed the Structural Fill. A Cat smooth drum roller compacted the fill area. Cat 740 haul trucks delivered Structural Fill to station J6+00. Cat dozers placed Structural Fill between stations J0+00 to J6+00 and graded the slope below stations JMO+00 to J14+00 and H28+00 to H30+00. A Cat dozer graded the slope below station H0+00 to H4+00. A Cat smooth drum roller compacted the fill area. CC&V hauled material to the Dump 4 surge in Phase 2 using Cat 793 haul trucks. A Cat dozer placed the Structural Fill between stations N20+00 and N22+00. A Cat smooth drum roller compacted the fill area. All of the above Structural Fill material was placed, compacted, and graded per the project plans and specifications.
