Backfill Aquifer
Well GF-5 is completed in the backfill after mining the H and I seams. The
[ransmissivity of the backfill is 410 gal/day/ft and an average permeability of 0.46
ft/day was computed for the total saturated backfill of 120 feet. This data
indicates that the backfill permeability is slightly greater than the pre-mine
permeability.
