TR - Ul
BENNETT SAND & GRAVEL
50500 F. 72ND AVE.
BENNETT. co 80102 October 7, 2015
(303)644-3030
(303) 6444743 FAX
RECEIVED
Tyler O'Donnell OCT 0 7 2015
Division of Reclamation Mining and Safety DIVISION OF RECLAMATION
1313 Sherman St. Room 215 MINING AND SAFETY
Denver, Co. 80203
Tyler,
In response to your letter of October 6, 2015, we have, attached herewith,
detailed exhibits and narratives.
1) We have attached a sheet showing the types of material for backfilling
2) In response to the method of backfill, we have attached the "Material
Placement" section of our Design and Operation submittal. We have been in
the construction business since 1977, and we are very familiar with the need
for adequate compaction, and methods to achieve that.
3) We have attached the reclamation plan, originally submitted in 2001. This
plan is still the plan that we intend to use for the reclamation using the inert
backfill. The excavation in Bennett Sand and Gravel Pit #2 is deeper than
originally anticipated and the import of inert fill will permit us to not vary
from the original design.
Please let us know if you require any additional information
Respectfully You
avid A. Lincoln
cc: Mark Molen
