<br />2014 Annual Reclamation Report
<br />Dear Mr. Wanstedt,
<br />The Division of Reclamation Mining and Safety has reviewed the 2014 Annual Reclamation Report (ARR) for
<br />the Deserado Mine. The Division finds that the 2014 ARR is in Compliance with the following rules:
<br />2.04.13(1) - The ARR was received by the Division on February 13, 2015.
<br />2.04.13(1)(a) - The cover of the ARR includes the name of the permitee, the address and the permit
<br />number.
<br />2.04.13(1)(b) - The report identifies 3.25 acres of new disturbence during the calender year of 2014. This
<br />disturbance was approved through MR156, MR159, MR160, and MR162.
<br />2.04.13(1)(c) - The report identifies 5.41 new acres that were backfilled and graded in 2014. These acres
<br />reflect; LWB12-1A, LWB12-1+Road, LWB12-2, LWB12-3, LWB12-4+Road, LWB12-5, N9-12, N9-26, N9-
<br />38+Road, N9-57, N9-62+Road, 310121-14, 310128-13, and 310128-14.
<br />2.04.13(1)(d) - The report identifies 5.41 new topsoiled acres in the calender year of 2014. These acres
<br />reflect; LWB12-1A, LWB12-1+Road, LWB12-2, LWB12-3, LWB12-4+Road, LWB12-5, N9-12, N9-26, N9-
<br />38+Road, N9-57, N9-62+Road, 310121-14, 310128-13, and 310128-14.
<br />2.04.13(1)(e) - The report identifies 6.66 acres that were revegetated in the calender year of 2014.
<br />310118-3, 310118-4, 310119-18 and 310119-19, LWB12-1A, LWB12-1+Road, LWB12-2, LWB12-3, LWB12-
<br />4+Road, LWB12-5, N9-12, N9-26, N9-38+Road, N9-57, N9-62+Road, 310121-14, 310128-13, and 310128-14.
<br />2.04.13(1)(f) - A total of 141.09 acres have been previously reseeded to 2014. The locations and dates of
<br />all previously seeded sites are on page 2 of the ARR.
<br />2.04.13(2) - The following additional monitoring information was provided in the 2014 ARR: planting
<br />specification sheets, the seeding invoices for 2014, the 2014 revegetation survey and the reclamation
<br />visual inspection forms.
<br />The Division has the following comments:
<br />The 2014 report does not have the correct acreage for the Cumulative Total for Acres disturbed.
<br />The cumulative total for acres backfilled and graded is 147.75 acres, there are no acres in the
<br />active mining category and there are 329.29 acres in long term mining or reclamation facilities.
