Crick, Reclamation Specialist
Re: Response to Permit Stipulation 18, C-84-065
Dear Mr. Crick:
Based on the results of the resurvey of the topsoil stockpiles,
sufficient soil exists to replace at least 16 inches of topsoil on
the full disturbed area (20 acres). The resurvey, as summarized
below, resulted in a total volume of 59,682 cubic yards. This
includes one stockpile which was omitted previously (ABC number 6).
The present survey missed a small stockpile (ABC number 5),
however, the survey performed in May, 1990 did include this pile.
• The value reported at that time (2251 cubic yards) was included in
this total.
If all topsoil is evenly distributed over the 20 acres, the topsoil
will be approximately 1.85 feet thick (or 22 inches).
Stockpile Number Volume
ABC Surveyor's Number (cubic yards)
3 1 18,214
~` 6 2,251 /
6 2 12,082
2 3 2,295
~4 4 15, 780
1 5 9,060
Total Volume 59,682 cubic yards
If you have any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to
call.
Sincerely,
Adrian Brown Consultants, Inc.
Michael GallOway~ Proje~anager
cc: E.
